Court rules in favor of Zoning Commission in homeless shelter dispute

Last week, the Superior Court ruled to uphold the Zoning Commission's decision to deny 3 Lake Avenue Extension LLC's request to amend the city's zoning regulations; the modifications request would have allowed for the existence of a controversial homeless shelter at the site of the former Super 8 Hotel on the city's westside.

At the time of this post, it's unknown if the plaintiff will appeal the court's decision.
