It's official, Mark Boughton is a dishonest, two-faced moron.
In an interview with Mayor Mark Boughton regarding space issues, Boughton said, “Look at Morris Street School, look at their test scores. It begs the question, why do you need a new school if they are scoring higher than the magnet school? It's heartwarming to see the good work they are doing. They got it down.”
So in other words, although schools like Morris and Shelter Rock are suffering from exterme overcrowding to a point where classes are being taught in closets and art programs are taught from a cart, in Boughton's world, when it comes to educaiuton under his watch all is okay because the school officials are finding insane ways to cope with the lack of support they've received from this joke of a mayor.
...and lets not forget that this remark comes from the same person who ran to the gullible Christine Rose at the Danbury Patch to brag about a so-called "purchase" of a building to ease overcrowding in schools (which is nothing more than a campaign gimmick to counter the criticism Boughton received on his god-awful education record from Lynn Taborsak).
As a parent, ten years of this dishonest nonsense from this clown is enough!
