With one week before the election, the latest campaign finance reports from Mark Boughton and Chris Setaro show that both candidates are virtually even in total money raised.
Boughton has raised a total of 14,400 dollars for the 7-day preceding the election reporting period (10/01/19-10/27/19) with 10,150.00 coming from individuals and 4,250.00 raised by committees.
As of 10/28, Boughton has raised a total of 176,725.00 for his re-election quest.
Not to be outdone, Setaro has kept on pace with Boughton by raising the most money ever for a Democratic mayoral candidate.
For the 7-day preceding the election reporting period (10/01/19-10/27/19), Setaro raised 10.500 with 4,150.00 coming from individuals, 4,300 from committees, and 2,050.00 in program book ads.
As of 10/28, Setaro raised a total of 172,563.07 for his mayoral campaign.

On September 26, 2007, ten plaintiffs filed suit in response to an arrest of aday laborers at a public park in Danbury, Connecticut. Plaintiffs amended their complaint on November 26, 2007.
The amended complaint states that plaintiffs sought to remedy the continued discriminatory and unauthorized enforcement of federal immigration laws against the Latino residents of the City of Danbury by Danbury's mayor and its police department.
Plaintiffs allege that the arrests violated their Fourth Amendment rights and the Connecticut Constitution because defendants conducted the arrests without valid warrants, in the absence of exigent circumstances, and without probable cause to believe that plaintiffs were engaged in unlawful activity. In addition, plaintiffs allege that defendants improperly stopped, detained, investigated, searched and arrested plaintiffs. Plaintiffs also allege that defendants violated their Fourteenth Amendment rights when they intentionally targeted plaintiffs, and arrested and detained them on the basis of their race, ethnicity and perceived national origin. Plaintiffs raise First Amendment, Due Process and tort claims.
Plaintiffs request declaratory relief, damages and attorneys fees.
